Welcome to KitchenAid World, a fan site about one of my favorite brands.
This site is not affiliated with KitchenAid or the Whirlpool Corporation in any official capacity (but if anyone over there is reading this: Hi! Let’s chat!). I’m simply a fan writing about a brand I’ve used and loved for years. I’m sure there will be plenty of writing about their famous stand mixer – but I want to explore all corners of the brand and its products.
Why KitchenAid?
Why not. KitchenAid has been a fixture in our homes for a century now. Its products have been family heirlooms and wedding gifts. They’ve been loved, scratched, repaired, scribbled onto Christmas lists, and handed down across generations. They help us feed the people we love. In an era of throwaway digital ephemera, these are visceral products taking up physical space and sticking around. They’re products we use every day and fixtures in some of our best and most human moments. So if we can have fan sites for the brands making phones and cars and modular Scandinavian furniture, why not KitchenAid?
How does this site work?
It’s still a work in progress, but I aim to organize into two sections.
- Guides: These are where I’ll explore the products and product lines.
- Blog: Occasionally I’ll be writing essays and commentary on the brand. Maybe it’s about a particular product, a new announcement from the company, or a reflection on my own experiences with KitchenAid.
